GENERAL NOTES

This variable mainly distinguishes between villa, apartments and others
"House" includes traditional, modern or Arabic house etc.
"Villa" includes palace, villa or a floor in a villa, duplex etc.
"Other" includes clay/reed house, primitive house, caravan etc.


COUNTRY SPECIFIC NOTES
----------------------------------
"Borj" and "Houch" are categorized in the questionnaire under houses, but they could not be classified under one of the house types, therefore they were coded 100 in the composite coding version.

Townhouses and duplexes were considered modern houses.
