GENERAL NOTES
----------------------
The variable should generally cover the active sample (employed and unemployed if previously employed).
While for Unemployed never previously employed, the variable was coded missing.
Active sample reported as "not stated (code 999)" should normally include employed for whom the status was not identified and unemployed previously employed if status in last job is not reported.
Those unemployed and do not search for a job are considered inactive, hence their previous employment information, if they were ever active, is recoded missing.
COUNTRY SPECIFIC NOTES

The variable indicating the place of work was used to generate the sector of employment.
The survey guidelines indicate that:
"AD.ETAB.PUBLIQUE-Public administrations /establishment" includes all ministries and governmental entities.
"ENTREPR.PRIV.MIX-joint/foreign Enterprises" means companies with foreign capital and might jointly include national or private capitals therefore they were added to joint/cooperative.
"AUTRES. CHANTIER- Other working sites" includes centers associated to municipal councils, hence they were assumed to belong to the government sector.
