Notes
GENERAL NOTES
----------------------
In case where the own produced food items are also included in code 01 we need to abstract from OWNP
=FOODEXP+CATSER+SCHRST

COUNTRY SPECIFIC NOTES
----------------------------------
Compared to Jordan 2002 survey data, the expenses on items coded 1801 to 1826 were not available in the 2006 data.

Only one consumption type (code 2) is provided for food items and 3 types for non-food products in the 2006 survey data, but with no code identification/labeling. Since no differentiation is required between purchased, own produced or in kind expenses for non-food items, all expenses were assumed to be for purchased items.

Expenses items for which the codes are not labeled were allocated under expenditure aggregates based on their coding group.

Since the period over which the expenditure data are collected is not identified in the data file, a check on average expenses on food, non food and total expenditure was done and compared to the figures provided by DOS. It was found that amounts provided are already annualized.
