Notes
GENERAL NOTES
----------------------
This variable may not exist in most of the surveys but can be constructed from the individual files

COUNTRY SPECIFIC NOTES
----------------------------------
The main source of income for the household was generated using variables indicating the total net annual income per household by source of income, assuming that the maximum value of income by sources indicated is the main source of income, i.e., if the household income from wages is higher than that from agricultural activities, the main source of income is assumed to be wages and salaries.

Cash Remittances includes pensions.

Codes 12299 and 13299 are not identified. However, further checks on sources of income in the individual data files led to assuming that these codes are, respectively, income from other agricultural activities and non agricultural activities, and were therefore recoded as household business.
