GENERAL NOTES

This variable exists in both the household and person file and is necessary when merging the two files. This identifier is unique only within each country/year dataset; when combining different countries or years it is necessary to use it in combination with the variables COUNTRY and YEAR in order to uniquely identify households.
When merging household and individual level files from the same dataset, use this variable to link each individual to the right household.
